These beamshots are great.
I’m starting to wonder if I should save a little more and get the Olight X7 Marauder. How is this light compared to the Astrolux MF-01 Cree XP-G3 version? I understand the MF-01 is a little brighter but there is something appealing to the X7. Perhaps the use of only 3 XHP70 LED’s vs 18 XP-G3’s. Run-times seem very good for the X7. I need someone’s opinion between both lights so I can make an ultimate decision.
Different beam pattern. X7 is way too floody for stuff like hiking or walking the dog. The spill will light up everything infront of you. It’s more suited for indoor or lighting up a backyard or small field. Depends what you gonna use it for
Actually that sounds just fine to me. I already have thrower lights like a XinTD C8 and a Acebeam K40M as well as a upgraded XHP70.2 P2 Convoy L6.
