Has anyone compared the KR1 with the Manker MC13? The MC13 throws 20% further, but is a bit bigger. Still in doubt which one to get :slight_smile:

There was also such a choice. I needed the option 18350. As a result, I ordered the MC13. In favor of the choice: price (ordered for $ 46), longer light length, better equipment. I like Manker design better. Only better handling is in favor of the KR1.

MC13 has TIR vs a traditional reflector in the KR1. Different beam profile and use case IMHO.

I think so, but the C8+ with Osram LED was not available back then (and is still only available from Neal AFAIK) and the FT03 uses a big SST-40.

I’m curious if anyone here is using this light with the SST-40? I am wondering if this led will throw farther compared with the other options as well as other differences.
