Just to let you know I am no where near the picture taker as ILIKEFLASHLIGHTS, that being said the first picture is just of the new 7G5V2 and the rest are with the 7G5V2 on the left and 7G5 0n the right.
wow
hope you're not too disappointed...
When I shine both of them at something the V2 is a little brighter.
Those turned out great.
Rick is going to give us 2 beamshots off the siding of his house at like 25yds per my request.
The 7G5 to me looks brighter in the pictures above. But I want to see another shot.
yeah, looks much brighter to me, too
but maybe because it is shining at a part of the tree w/ more mass to reflect light?
Here they are and again 7G5V2 on the left and the 7G5 on the right, I also aimed at a different tree.
It's decisive now 7G5V2 wins.
I am so tempted to order this right now!!
You guys have better flashlight eyes than me. They look pretty identical to me.
well, I can see at least one thing clearly
i'm not the only guy out in his backyard lighting up the tops of neighbors' trees
The hotspot on the 7G5V2 is brighter. Look at the 2 pictures on the siding of the house. It's a no-brainer for me. My eyes can see the difference.
Rick, 2100 will tell you to buy a light meter. One day we might get around to that technology uhh! LOL!
since i have my HID i light up the trees of the entire neighbourhood when i had my sipik as best thrower i already heard some people talking about 'mysterious bright flashes' and strange shapes of light
I was looking at International Outdoors and they have the neutral version of this with the T6-3C bin. Cree's PDF at http://www.cree.com/products/pdf/XLampXM_B&L.pdf lists T6 group as 280-300 lumens@700A and the U2 group as 300-320 lumens@700A. How much brightness would I stand to lose if I get the the neutral T6 instead of the cool white U2?
