best 9V cells for multimer

Hi, best cells for multimer? 2 pieces is more then enough. Free shipping must be included…please give recommendations. Ebay, stores everything works as long as it has international free shipping.

Anyone? :frowning:

Why does so many ask for buying advice, but keep their location secret? Why does it have to be free international shipping? Maybe someone would know of a deal in your country. Are you an international fugitive or something?

In my country, this type of cells cost 5 euros for single cell, and they are of some random types. Yes, i’m from EU. It has to be free, because paying 20$ for transport, is too much when the cells cost like 5$ for pair.

Just get some alkaline 9V from supermarket and don’t forget to turn it off again.

And a 9 Volts battery is not single cell, it’s 6 cells in series (6 x 1.5 = 9)

So, you’re from the EU huh?
All of the EU, or a particular country? :stuck_out_tongue:

I would, but they are all crap, and i want to trust in my meter. Also they are very expensive.

No ALdi, Lidl, Intermarché, LeClerc, whatever big one in your area?
Topcraft alkalines (Aldi) are great value.

If your meter can’t be trusted with a normal battery, it’s not a really good meter, I think…

I’ve bought couple of these

That looks really good, how would you guys rate this cells?

Nothing lol, only some Varta, my friend bought 2, and one died in 1 month, i think fakes :frowning:

Hmm, or very old and / or badly stored…

Aww, come on, what horrible EU country do you live in?
You’ve made us really curious!

There are some decent 18650, but no 9V lol.

I’m from Macedonia. Maybe i never looked hard enough, but the prices are sick so yea, even if i find some store which has some decent ones, they would be very very expensive.

Why not just pick up Duracell, Energizer, or Rayovac/Varta from the local hardware store?...

Edit: Just saw the bit about them being expensive. Buying 9V batteries cheap online still seems pretty iffy to me.

What do you mean by that? they are old? fake? sorry i’m quite new into this li ion/battery/chargers/flashlights world

If you are looking for the best 9v batteries, price be damned, I would go with lithium.

Sony? Never heard of it.

Heavy duty don't have as much energy as alkaline, but don't leak corrosive fluid as readily. Meters don't use that much power, and I don't suppose you use it constantly.

I had some very bad experience in the past, with bad cells, making me losing my mind lol.

So i want to have at least better chance to avoid that. Is there any model which stands out from others? what should i search? i think i become battery snob lol :frowning:

Edit, how are this ?

Thinking back to when I just got my first DMM…
Less than 2 days per battery…
Forgot to turn it off…
It had an oscillator for measuring coils and caps, oscillating and oscillating… low bat, low bat….

Eveready lithium 9V would probably suit you as far as performance, storage and little likelihood of leaking. They're pricey, though.

Hah i can imagine

I think i will go with Fasttech Soshine, not sure yet lol.

Ever-redy is same as Energizer? also how can i tell old from new cells? date on package? something?
