Best AA or AAA light under $10 ?

Maybe a Thrunite Ti for the AAA (on sale around $10 or so, not sure if there is a current promotion on them). Looks like they are $16 right now (or $19.99 shipped within US). The moonlight low or 3 lumen low would provide long runtimes (but is it enough light?).

Are you asking for single cell lights? Or multicell too?

Raising the price limit to $12 or $13 might yield some more answers. Under $10 is kind of tough, especially for AAA lights, now that the Ti has gone back closer to its original price.

Also, "durability and runtime" covers a broad range. Could you be more specific?

I don't one one, but if 10 lumens is enough, your best bet is probably the Fenix E01.
