Best All Around - Let's Try This Again

Yesterday I posted a question in the 18650 forum asking for the best all-around flashlight. I realized that I shouldn't have limited it to just this type of battery so let's try this question again:

New to the forum and I guess I am curious what everyone considers their most indispensible light, i.e. if you could have just one light what would it be and why?

Thanks, Punk

I'm going to say any tailstanding P60 light with a 3 mode neutral XML dropin .

If AA, Zebra SC51 for its power, runtime and small size.
For AAA, DQG Tiny II, same reasons without “power”.
18650? Solarforce New L2, 3-mode XM-L High-PWM low current dropin and OP reflector.

Just one light, that would be hard for me...I would have to say Zebra SC600 it has all your needs.

iTP A3 R5 upgrade, because the most useful flashlight is the one I always carry with me.

Either a Romisen RC-29 or a 3 mode Sipik 68 clone. Small, versatile, bright. Each model has pros and cons on the other; if I had to choose just one, probably the Romisen. Something about its build quality, even though IMO the 68 is more user friendly.

My opinion - Sunwayman V10A

I know it's specs are beaten to a pulp by the SC600. I know it's inefficient at very low modes (and probably at very high modes also).

But it's reliable, well made, will stay on the whole night at low modes and I simply love the magnetic control.

Had to try this once when I was at a flashlight shop. Very small, gives an image of perfect all-rounder in every way.

Very close to be my next purchase. If it was available in 3C tint, would have bought it already.

3 Mode P60 in XM-L , driven @ 1.4A , does everything a flashlight needs to 99% of the time .

I think my LD20...takes 2xAA batteries and can tail stand, and goes low (could be lower.)

Im going to order an LD12 and hopefully will enjoy that light just as much with one AA.

SC600

me too

Just one light? I'd rather be dead.

If I have to choose

I just got one and love forever!

Fenix TK41 or Sunwayman V60C

Zebralight SC51w.

This has sparked my interest in the sc600. Anyone know where I could get a hands on look at one in southern California?
