Best "C8" Style light?

Well I have been on this site for about 2 months and I now have 3 P60 style lights, the Super Tactics thrower, and one of the Cree 5w 300lm lights from CyberPort888 on the way. I want to know what is the best C8 style thrower on the market? Single 18650 is prefered as I dont really want to go to multiple cells just yet.

...in a good C8 style torch. It doesn't have to be a screaming thrower but I do like it to be well constructed, good machining on the threads, even anno, not fussy about batteries.

On this site alone I've read recommendations for Ultrafire C8, KD C8, Keygos KE5, Romisen T601, various eBay-sourced Cree C8, etc - so difficult to choose!

Next C8 I get will be one of these:

XINTD

RC-T601 Unfortunately 2 mode is sold out on Shiningbeam, but you can find the 5 mode version here:

Thats the next light I plan on buying. It seems to have a big following and gets great feedback.

I bought one about a week ago to see what everyone has been talking about on this light. Cant wait until I get it to see what all the talk is about.

Oh gosh... you just haaaad to go and start this thread. Of course, now I need to find out for myself what a C8 is all about...

I own 5 C8 size lights.

XINTD is best overall. Fit, Finish and parts used are top quality.

KE-5 has best throw. The reflector is the same diameter but is a little deeper than others. The one I just got from Go_Market on Ebay is seriously overdriven at 3.6 Amps and cost ~$20

I don't have a Romisen to compare

The best C8?

That's easy - an XM-Lified MCU-C88.

How about an E1320 modded F-15 ?

Or an E1320 modified C2 x 2: XML U2, 3.5 amps, 5 mode no flashies.

I would go along with the other guys and say an E1230 modified light based on those stats, but I'll suggest something stock and that can be purchased retail:

The newest version of the Romisen RC-T601 from Shiningbeam that should be arriving in a week or two. Two modes, no blinkies, U2 emitter, fantastic quality. I'm already impressed with the one I have now, which is still a fairly new version, so the updates should make it even better.
