Best "old school" multi emitter light.

In the world of ever evolving knock offs & fakes technology in the torch world, I deem 3-4 years ago the peak of creation. Except mods, of course. Since then, well, we all know the story.
After I fund a custom project from another very helpful member here, I will be looking to buy a genuine older first generation of a multi emitter. I do not have one.
The original SRK, the TR-J series, the Shocker all come to mind. Of course all subject to owners willing to part.

Any thoughts on the all-round all-things-considered best multi ever made ? Something that in years to come, we will all be thinking of as a legend.

This is a neat question.
Subbed! And unfortunately not been around long enough to be able to answer this.

I would go for the Shocker just because I like throw monsters, never understood the multi emitter flood lights. Three or four is fine but when it gets to eight or ten, why do you need all that flood.

TK45 as an AA-tech alternative

I was edging towards the Shocker. After a thread I posted on here not long ago, it seems there are still more than a few in light-land, hiding away in peoples closets for a rainy day.
I have a while to think on it ……. Area illumination certainly has its place, I walk my dog in pitch black a lot of the time and although the lights I have fit the bill, having an entire mass of light could be adventagous when if decides to bolt after a rabbit (-:
