Finally!
At least now you can stop complaining about being late

Nah, I enjoy complaining. :smiling_imp:

By tomorrow, the deals will be posted at 2.00 pm UTC+2, so you will have every right to complain about missing them

Okay, so what’s that in, like, earth-time?

The beauty of using UTC as your reference time is that it’s universal like comparably understandable for the entire world population. From that you should be able to derive your local time zone easily or google can do it for you.

You'll come around it

/edit

Ok, that sounds kinda unnecessarily disk-ish. What I meant to say is UTC was introduced to avoid all this "what time is this in my time zone" conundrum.

Currently it’s 9:13 PM UTC.
So UTC+2 would be 11:13 PM (23:13).

Lol, 2 guys with pretty much the same nickname replied back to back

It’s going to be 7am NYC time.
You gotta stay awake after work, otherwise I will have you complaining about getting a rock.

on the site it even tells you what time it is in NY

I know, I know, I was just funnin’…

We just got off the damned “daylight-savings time” (a/k/a “summer time”) a little while ago.

I’d rather use stardates…

Yeah, like always. I’ll probably be asleep unless I have to get up to go to the can or something. :expressionless:

Yes but if he uses his flashlight while he goes to the Can it makes it OK.

New at this UTC thing, is 2.00 pm UTC+2 = 4.00 pm UTC ?

unfortunately… :frowning:

@furbo: it’s the other way round. As it is UTC+something you have to deduct that something to get UTC.

No, 4.00 pm UTC+2 = 2.00 pm UTC

and what about this thread isnt flashlight Related??

who is this guy? hes posted this in quite a few threads i follow.
