Sounds familiar. Much of the time, prices rise before the holiday massive shopping spree, then “massive discounts” bring them down to prices that are not much different than sales at other times of the year. There are exceptions… and for a reason. People who get lucky to stumble upon them raise hopes for other people that more will be found… and much time is wasted looking. I’ve fallen into that trap TWICE so far. Not any more.
