blf a6 mod question

Do I need to desolder the switch to do a spring bypass? (newb) Can I damage the driver doing a spring bypass also?

You don't have to, but a spring bypass drilled through the board is considered saver (although I always do a regular bypass). The driver can be damaged, but if you have soldered before I don't think you'll damage it.

You don’t need to if you are quick. I only remove the switch if I am bypassing the board also.

thanks, i was just going to do a quick solder from top (toward) the bottom of the springs, not all the way to the bottom and I was going to use vise grips to hold as a heat sync. I just don’t want to fry a switch like I did last time.
