TK-567 Standard feature: AA or 14500 dual-capability driver

E07 Standard: AA or 14500 dual-capability driver

TK-737 Standard: 1x18650 or 3xAAA battery compatible

@sb56637

The 4 mode are SL-L-M-H (the order is not really important) and with memory?

For the write on the flashlight i'm more classic. A simple BudgetLightForum would be enough

"BLF Zombie Edition" or "BLF Zombie Edn." if space is an issue would be awesome!! :)

If we do other custom issues we can do each in a different theme to identify the run, all darkness themed. Perhaps the next one could be "BLF Vampire Edition", "BLF Werewolf Edition", "BLF Starlight Edition" or "BLF Full Moon Edition".

BTW, I love the pricing and mode selections! I'd be in for an E07 and a 737. 8)

I'm not picky about the modes (well, I am, actually, that's why I flash my own drivers with custom software), but whatever you go for don't make it starting from high. Make it SL-L-M-H or L-H-M-SL or even M-SL-H-L. Just don't make it start on high. Please. Pretty please with high-end budget folding knife on top.

For the branding... BLF FTW! No... hmm... Must think. Maybe a few beers will help.

Name1: BLF Nucleon

Name2: BLF Unobtanium ;-)

Name3: BLF-FIRE M4R5

Name4: FrugalFire M4R5

Name5: Tank007 - FirePower... Shaken, not stirred..

Name6: BLF - R2D2C3PO

Name7: Portable Darkness Eliminator .... or BLF PDE XP-G M4R5

The M4R5 is number of modes and bin.

LOL. Awesome. :D

Reminds me of the M4forgery a guy I know has:

Hei! That's a good idea! BudgetLightForum MARS (with the A looking like a 4 and the S looking like a 5).

Good job Vectrex!

How high is high on 567 with AA's and 14500's? We are all flashaholics, so I'm pretty sure most of us want to get more than 140lm in high with AA. Would be awesome if it would output about 200Lum on AA. Yes, I know that the runtime might be bad and it may get warmer than it should, but for extended use you could run it on medium settings and still get enough light.

How's the throw on tk-567?

We could always exaggerate the newer names on the market like "FandyFire" and call it the "BLF PantzonFire" just for comic relief. :P

I still prefer "BLF Zombie Edition" though. ;)

BLF Zombie Edition

or

BudgetLightForum
Zombie Edition

Sorry, but that would look bad*ss printed (without the white line through the middle) around the head of a Tank!!

Johnny *can't resist* Mac

No, it would have to be NadzOnFire

If it is really, really bright I'd like to call it "BLF Firefly". 0:)

Hi sb56637,

Anyway you could ask them to give us the full spec and pic of the pill and stuff right here, so we know what we will get. Thanks for all the work you did to get our BLF prefect light. Clip please.

Things to confirm:

- Tint (neutral, cool, warm)

- Clip (yes/no)

- Memory (with or without)

- If it will be slightly overdriven or underdriven.

- BLF logo (I would prefer "BLF Edition")

I know many will disapprove this and it will probably offend someone but in my opinion the best thing to put there would be:

BLF

Gen. 1:4

+1 Putting Zombie on there will help them sell more flashlights to non BLFers. Zombies are HOT! all the kids are talking about them.

Haha, sold! :D

There we go! BLF: Maybe a few beers will help. Great idea, HID45!

Philosophical life advice, practical troubleshooting advice, and, when cornered with no hope of escape, good last-ditch zombie advice.

On the other hand, I love JohnnyMac's idea. Two lines, maybe:

BLF Emergency:

Zombie Hunter Edition

Later we can follow it up with "Vampire Hunter" (we need optional UV emitters for that), "Werewolf Hunter" (_requires_ a really good moonlight mode), etc

I would vote "BLF-007", but more importantly, have it start on low. For an EDC, I prefer to not be blinded more often than wanting instant access to wide open.

The admin should tell use how long the title can/where it's placed before we can really decide.

For an EDC, I prefer to not be blinded more often than wanting instant access to wide open.

I don't really understand this logic. I think most people spend far more time in the light than the dark, and the thus an "everyday" light would be far more use to cater to the light-adapted eyes case than the dark adapted eyes case. Of course if it had perfect memory like the 737 (in admin's review) then none of this matters.
