I was curious, does anyone hear have a GT4 that they have been able to open and see the emitter MCPCB? I’m on the fence about buying one because I want to swap in my own emitters. I recall reading in the past that getting the bezel off of the BLF GT took a specialized tightening strap.
Edit-Looks like the bezel loosens easily with a strap wrench which is good to hear. I would assume the reflector is pretty easy to get out from there.
I would also find it very interesting to see the internals of the GT4/GT94 as I am building a quad emitter light of this size. It is really strange that there are no photos of the internals as (to my knowledge) some GT94s were delivered with wrong reflectors and people had to open the lights themselves and swap the reflector with the right one.
If remember correctly, I managed to get the Bezel off my GT with a large strap wrench without too much issue (no heat or anything).
Only issue was overcoming the friction of the large threaded/oring surface area.
