As with many things, once done it looks easy. But when the drawing board is empty, or the page blank, it's really different. And it takes special experience to note it, congrats to you ActiveAI.
Great job to everyone involved!
Seeing it might be a tight fit on the schedule, you can also send them my current version of the french translation. Litteraly only 2 paragraphs remains untranslated (for which I have opened questions). Of course I might still find my own typos, or add little tweaks, etc. Like for sure I will need a proofreading session to consider the job fully done.
But as something like 98% (and it's a conservative figure) of the manual is translated, I believe it's quite better than nothing for all the french-speakers that will be in the firsts to order the LT1.
Depending on your discussion with Sofirn, you can also tell them they are offered the alternate option to wait a few more hours to get an industrial grade 100% done french translation. I'm quite positive it can be done today.
And thanks for the credit, I'm glad to be part of that :)
Can it hurt to go +2 and hit an even 10?
I’m going to assume the window to redeem these group buy codes will span at least 2-3 paychecks….
(yes, that means go +2 and hit an even 10)
The firmware updates are relatively minor and I bet that for most people they would never know the difference. I bet that most people will just set the tint to what they like and then ramp/step to the level of brightest that they need at that moment in time.
There will also be other options besides AlieExpress so I wouldn’t worry about that.
I humbly implore you to have a modicum of mercy upon me, for I have just ordered another 100 batteries to wrap and have no more nickels to rub for warmth.
