Does anyone happen to know if there is a replacement switch for the BLF LT1 lantern? The actual 3.2mm x 4.2mm micro push button switch broke off the board and took the solder pad/traces with it. The switch board has 4 white wires coming off the back.
I might be able to put in a different type of switch and go without the LEDs, but it would be nice to find something that is a closer match.
How’s your soldering equipment/skills?
I can’t tell from the pic if there is enough switch traces to connect to. If not, one fix would involve gluing a new micro switch to the board (one with exposed pads), and running thin jumper wires through holes you would drill in an open area. Then you can connect those to the wires from the driver on the backside.
The new switch would need to be of similar size. You can get variety packs of all different shapes/sizes on places like aliexpress for not much money.
I have a “for parts” gen 1 group buy version LT1. It’s fully functional besides the charging port, which doesn’t charge. Interested?
