BLF Q8 Carry Pouch.

Can someone aim me in the right direction for a belt attached carry pouch for the Q8? My feeble attempts to make some sort of belt clip that screws into the tripod hole have been useless. I don’t know anything about working with stainless steel and my results prove that. I concede, I will buy something.

I haven’t gotten that far but I did order a couple tripod screw eyelets so I could put a wrist strap on it.

Not a bad idea, maybe I can talk the wife into making a paracord strap for it. I am also horrible at braiding that stuff too.

Might just wanna get a generic rightsized pouch with a molle system hookup.

Edit…you know some of the eyelets on Amazon are threaded all the way and some have a flat area between the threads and the head. I ordered the black nickel ones that appear to be threaded all the way to the head.

Just look for a m4/m16 double magazine molle pouch. The Q8 fits nicely. I had several thanks to accumulation of a near-complete molle rig and on a whim tried it. Couldn’t imagine a better fit unless the sheath was made specifically for it.

edit: mine are a bit different and have velcro closures without snaps and elastic loops for shotgun shells but something like this should work.

I use this camera lens case I picked up at a charity shop for the equivalent of $1.
There was enough space to put a layer of high density foam at the bottom and around the inside. You could throw it against a wall now and not damage the contents.
