Huffy Torex battery question here. Can I make a better quality scooter battery work with it?
Before I read previous threads I ordered a crap stock battery. I have horrible expectations for how it’ll work.
Can I use higher amps if the voltage us the same. My grandsons are too big for power wheeks but not big enough for the go kart. Help!

you could use a battery that can supply more amps, or one with more amp-hours
it just may not fit, is the problem

Yes – I do it all the time — If you’re still using SLA batteries, Go with Lithium — If you have the capability ,build a battery pack — My grandkids have PowerWheels that run 18v and 24v – We also have Razor scooters the same way — I have one Razor 36V converted , does 28mph
What is the voltage of the Huffy and the size of the battery/ compartment
One of the easiest conversions is to use Tool Battery Packs – they sell the adapter plates

How do you convert? I would love to make this thing a little faster.

You have to do some Research – Look around Youtube first — I asked what voltage battery — If it has a controller or is it like a Power Wheels ( direct to motor )
Easiest – If 24v ---- 24 v drill / tool packs with the correct adapter plate to use them
