I don’t see how that LED arrangement could work.

I think each LED will be focussed in a completely different direction, only the centre one would be aligned with the “bore-sight” of the rifle.

The two outer ones, as well as pointing too high, and too low (or too left and too right, depending how the torch is mounted), may not be precisely focussed, even with the best aspheric lens they might be too far off-axis for this thing to work.

There is potential here, and I agree, the B158, first and second versions is a superb torch.

I could manage without any white LED, a decent green one would probably be most-used at night.

The red LED should be the longest wavelength possible.

Most useful would be an IR LED compatible with either analogue or digital night-vision (legal here), in the longer wavelengths.

Switching between LEDs ideally done on the remote tail-switch, not the buttons on the head, which may not be easily accessible or consistently positioned, depending on how the head is turned for focus.
