Somehow I missed this. A company is making wires out of Buckytubes. Buckytubes are very strong but they are also very slick. I expected the first Buckytube wires to be inclosed in a tube which provided the strength of the wire. Somehow they have found a way to get Buckytubes to stick together to be stronger than steel. Not that I would trust them in powerlines. Even the copper coated steel they use now has been known to pull apart. https://dexmat.com/
