Silliness removed.

That 603 looks like a handful. I want one!

If you want 2 hands full, get a K602 .... whopping 9.5" or 246mm in length (7 oz or 200 grams !!!). If they ever come back to exduct, I will have to control myself not to buy one. (worked badly in the past ;-) )

The green one also looks nice......

An option! The price for 12 pcs is very appealing. Group buy? I'll take 2-3!

tootoo seems to be a new offshoot market - I suspect the seller navyco is the same as navy cui on aliexpress, although there seem to be slightly different offerings. I've found Aliexpress to be sometimes very competitive in pricing as well.

I ordered one of these from Amazon for $22, a Winchester Bowie knife.

Wife kind of freaked out when I opened the box (it's almost 15 inches long), but it is a nice pig sticker.

Cheap Navy K-603 on eBay:

They ship to Canada (but they don't ship to Slovenia) I sent an eBay message to the seller, and they will ship to Slovenia! It's $14.95 or best offer. As of today, they have accepted every offer received on this knife since Feb-04-10 (that's 26 offers.) Out of the people that have left feedback since Jan-27-11, the lowest offer in a valid auction was $12.95, though you might be able to haggle for a much better deal. It looks like several people have paid less than $5, but I don't know if that was with free shipping, if the auctions were valid, or if they were best offers or traditional (not buy it now) eBay auctions. (eBay doesn't provide enough information for auctions that are over 3 months old.) According to Langcjl in post #410, a $9 offer was rejected automatically. Also, you only have three chances at offers. So if I were making offers for this knife, I would make offers between $9 and $12.95.

Darnit...it happened again. Just ordered a navy K-603, a SRM 603, and a 6261. I'm not sure what happened, one minute I'm thinking of the next "Match's Mods", and the next thing I know I've got an order confirmation on some more knives! Good thing there isn't a "Budget Guns Dealers all in one" post~!

Hey Match, it could be worse - you could have gotten bitten with the bug while over at the other place, in which case you'd be thousands in the hole on premium knives! And don't get me started on budget guns... I can at least afford good budget knives.

Just received my SRM 603 today. It's been out of the package less than an hour!

So it's about time to combine your hobbies... how about an EL-01-XML-mod? ;-) First knife with 1000 lumen.....

They will sell that navy knife above for $13.50. I didn’t know you only got three chances at offers. My first was $9 and that was rejected automatically. Bid 2 was $11 and it said they had two days to respond. I got tired of waiting, my patience lasted 37 minutes, so I made another offer and had to make it pretty good or I would have to pay full price. Try between $11 and $13.50

I ordered one a while ago and my offer of $12.95 was accepted automatically. I haven't received the knife yet but I have ordered from the same seller in the past, so I know they use HKP.

looks like Sanrenmu finally released its multi tool (under the JEEP brand)

at Manafont

looks great!

If anyone has disassembled a 710, what is the right sequence of the washers ?

My 701 has 3 washers : a teflon one, a bronze one and a smaller ( but thicker ) bronze one. Do teflon washers normally go closer to the blade or the handle ?

Just cleaned & lubed my 710. To get the blade perfectly centered between the handles I need to do this :

clip handle - large bronze washer - blade - teflon washer - smaller bronze washer - handle.

Edit : Framelock side | thick brass washer | blade | thin brass washer | teflon | plain side

It's not bad. Jeep, Sheffield Tools and Cattleman Cutlery have all rebranded it already, Sheffield was in fact showing it off as one of their own tools at the Vegas SHOT show.

I am so impressed with the quality of the SRM and Ganzo knives that I have purchased as a result of things I have learned on this thread. I am a little worried that the Navy K603 wont measure up because of a few things I have read online. For anyone who has one is the quality pretty good? I bought it for my wife and I want it to be as good as my 909 which is awsome. My wife likes cute little knives but always likes to keep a big knife in the purse.

I don't have experience with the K603 but I've handled a few other Navy knives. I personally think the quality is a step below SanRenMu overall, but the manufacturing tolerances and initial quality are still pretty good. The steel they use ("440C", which is like 9Cr18MoV) is actually a touch better than SanRenMu's.

After seeing this video, I wish I hadn't ordered the SRM 736..... at least it was cheap.

P.S.: It arrived today and it is not as bad as described in the vid above.

That's good news. He even said something in the vid about holding it at an angle. It might not be wise to use it for carving or anything requiring heavy force to be applied. But normal use as in edc stuff may be okay. Just be sorry for the unfortunate soul that buys this.

Does anyone know if U.K customs will confiscate the knives. In the U.K you cannot carry lock knives or assisted knives. I know that butterfly knives are banned and are Nunchaku
