So I lost my FourSevens Quark AA2 Tactical, and am not feeling the need to pay for a new one. Not a cheap light.
Is there a budget light that is the same-ish diameter that is as bright or almost as bright? I have some L2’s, but sometimes they are too wide at the head to fit in a pocket easily.
1/2 AA or 18650.

UF2100 is $13 at KD right now, can’t beat portability/lumens/cost 
Does that light get hot quickly on med mode? I like the size.

Man, I just read about the E modded version of the UF-2100. Wish I could have got one of those.
Anybody have a Ultrafire C6?
I just ran my UF-2100 for 15 min. on medium and it was just warm, not anywhere near what I would call hot. Now on high it gets hot very quickly.

Thanks, Allan. I was surprised to find that running my UF 501b on low did not cause it to get hot. It was slightly warm after 30 minutes.

E1320’s mod is great, but even without, it’s a very bright light and easy to EDC in my opinion. I think you could run it a long time on medium; there is also an HD2011…a similar light but of a bit better quality. There is a special on it right now at wallbuys…I ordered one just because…it’s only $10 WallBuys.com is for sale | HugeDomains. Plus, the UF2100 can use the Solarforce pocket clip, making it a great pocket light.
If your 501 wasn’t getting warm, it’s possible that the drop in wasn’t wrapped, preventing the heat from transferring to the body of the light.
