Looks like a Solarforce L2 head on a L2T tube that’s either stainless or has been chrome plated?

The L2T stainless version that I know of is different and has diamond knurling.

Nice job! I’m going to have to try that. Nice to have the light weight of aluminum and the look of stainless.
What did you use to remove the ammo, Greased Lightning?

I used caustic soda to remove the ano. Tried a lot of products before that, but none of them really got the job done. So a couple of minutes in caustic soda was all it took. Be careful of not leaving it in too long though. Pick it up often and rinse it with water to make sure you won’t damage the aluminum.

I suggest trying just to hand polish it at first. It’s really easy to scratch the aluminum.

Thanks Sledgestone for the tips, I remember now about the caustic soda / Drain cleaner / Lye trick. I’ll have to look in to that, there was a thread that discussed it pretty well. I think it was in one of the baking threads.

It was the closest thing to a Surefire Centurion C2 that I could find with nice quality. And it only cost like 20-30 USD.

I think one of the sexiest light i have is the Lumintop Prince Mini. Chromed SS, carbon fiber and metal tail switch… Very bright on a 14500, but quite heavy.

The Kalrus Mi7 Ti comes close.

In the AAA department i would mention the Lumintop Ant brass, the Ultratac K18 brass or SS, the Convoy Tiny Torch brushed SS, Lumintop Tool Ti…

PS: i forgot to mention the Lumintop IYP brass or Ti. Real classy pen lights with Nichia option.
