Has anyone experience with this thing?

i had a bernzomatic soldering kit... very tempermental. the flame had to be constantly adjusted, and not just the lever, you actually had to adjust th lever. think adjustable lighter big flame mod.

much happier with my cheapo plug in

Not this one but I have a Pro’s Kit and although it is a quality item I can’t seem to keep it stably low but better and hot at the higher settings. I got mine for higher temp soldering but it didn’t give that easier flow either. It gets hot quickly and you need to turn it down or totally of if you don’t want to go out of gas or burn the workbench.
I love my adjustable plugged in I got from DX instead.

I use a Weller pyropen it's a lovely bit of kit if a bit expensive.

Don't know about the ebay one. I had one like it and ended up going to this one.

Ronson Consumer Products 80011 "Ronson Tech Torch" Auto Start Kit

I use it when I need a 125W iron, otherwise it's too hot for regular soldering.

I just bought an inexpensive soldering station, Stahl Tools SSVT Variable Temperature Soldering Station and I'm happy with it.

I have it, but the price on Ebay is appalling, I have paid 5 euros ($ 6.52) in a china shop in Rome.

When I posted the link it was about the same price, do not know what happened.
