C8 remote switch not working good on dd XML

OK, heres the thing:

I have C8 XML-T6 and its direct drive. I bought C8 remote pressure switch from lightake.com

Well, with remote switch, light output is significantly weaker.

How can I fix that. I have diassembled the switch, desoldered and soldered the wires again, little better, but there is still difference when with remote switch, light is still weaker.

Replacing the wires for thicker (and shorter) should make it way better.

Note that the switch itself might have some resistance as well, but that shouldn't be as significant.
