Can I add a tail switch to my Astrolux S43?

Hi, I have just received my new Astrolux S43. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I have o broken S41 laying around. Can I use the knurled body plus the tail switch button on my S43?

The threads are the same and they lego just fine, but I am just asking before trying something that I don’t know and maybe damage in any way the electronics of S43.

If they physically fit together then yes you can use them, the only issue is that the S43 wont come on with the tail switch, all it will do is lock the light out so it’s not drawing any power when off.

It worked, but unfortunately the tail button cannot turn on the light. It justs cut power or let power go. No light when pressing it. =/
