Can MT-G2 20mm Star be cut down to 14mm diameter?

Hi,

As in the Subject, can an MT-G2 20mm star be cut down to ~14mm diameter and still work?

Just eyeballing it, it looks like it should be doable, but most, maybe all of the solder pad would be pretty much gone?

Has anyone done this?
