I'll wait for the Chro-Mes LED EDC flashlight.
It turns on twice as fast and is very light on resources. :p
That's Shinetop's first led flashlight, wasn't very successful due to raised led platform and a propriatery battery. He is developing a Gen II light, flat led with common battery.
He was the inventor for Firefox HID, the original world's smallest 35W HID developed in 2009 as custom DIY small production,
I have the one & only in existence in the US of A:
That's pretty cool, and would be even cooler with a replaceable cell.
There is a guy on CPF that makes a real nice one. Very expensive!

That is pretty cool. Makes me wish I could replace my cellphone LED with an XM-L.
That Firefox HID is pretty nice too.
I just saw one on ebay fire-foxes hid ff3 40 watt. I bid and It’s at $200.00 in the USA !
Has someone tried that actually? I think your average cellphone battery should be able to support enough energy …
Looks cool for fitting in a pocket. But, I would rather just use a smartphone. My brothers Galaxy3 led flash has got to be at least 50 lumens.
Sadly, I don’t have one though. But my cellphone battery is 1000mah, it’s just slide phone(messager touch2). So you’d get like 700 mah of usable power from one of them.
That’s FireFox 3, I have one as well. Good luck with the bid!
Looks like a nice floody light and the buttons remind me of an MP3 player. Kinda wish the LED was on the edge though, might be a bit hard to place the light down and still have it light what you want, unless you are pointing the light upwards.
