Anyone tried this? The zoom feature looks pretty cool and it’s quite cheap. Doesn’t give the output in lumens but for 300m range I’m guessing it must be at least 1000.

I don't think that they are all that great, but if you can find one cheap enough, and your expectations aren't too high, you might like it.

Typical tulip-head zoomie that might get 300lm and cook the LED which sits on a little ridge, not even a shelf.
Buy one and give it to someone you hate.
Pretty standard x700 stuff. Don’t believe any of the performance claims. You’re not going to get 3000, or 10000 lumens, or anywhere near 300m throw from 3x aaa’s, even with a good emitter (which these don’t have). And, like lightbringer says, if they work with an 18650, it’s usually not for long.
If you can find one for $3, they’re not terrible for putting NiMhs in and leaving in the car.
I think it means 2x lights, rather than 2x led. Either way it’s not something I’d consider, ever.
