I found this package deal on eBay (and a nearly identical one here) and while I have heard good things about the light itself I have no idea about the charger / battery. I know this is just an illustrative photo & I may be sent anything since no specifications are listed in the description. But assuming this is what the buyer receives, would this be a decent charger and a reliable 14500 battery? I have never used rechargeable li-ions before and this seems like a budget-conscious way to begin...

Disclosure: I know BLF-member Steve Barnhart also sells this light (w/o bundle), which is part of why I assume it is decent. I'd prefer to buy from him except I live in Europe so I can't overlook the cost of shipping...
That charger will charge the battery just fine but the spring mechanism has a pretty high failure rate in my experience. The post that The spring hooks onto is too small. The if you never let it snap when removing a battery you will be fine.
