Charger suggestions

I recently obtained an older battery and currently use a small solar panel to charge some old lead batteries. Although this setup works well for my needs, I’m contemplating a shift towards utilizing the rechargeable lithium cells from the battery. I’ve noticed several inexpensive options on eBay for BMS charging. However, there’s limited information available regarding the acceptable input voltage range for these components. In my current charging setup, the input voltage to the charge controller can reach around 18V on exceptionally sunny days. Additionally, I’m interested in adjusting the charge voltage to approximately 4.0V rather than the standard 4.2V for these FST 18650-2500mAh 4 cells in the pack.

Do you have any recommendations or suggestions for this scenario?

That’d be better asked at a place where solar power is discussed. I think there was something like solarpowerforums.com where that kind of thing was discussed.

Li-ion vs Pb-acid vs LFP vs ??? Big powerwalls or just a few car batteries stuck together. Single panel vs huge arrays. Etc. Too many variables to just toss out meaningful suggestions.
