Hi guys I have this old 2008-ish car size battery charger (600a rated). I have lost the stickers but looking online it says it takes a 12 Volt @ 500mA. I looked all around the house and only gotten these 2 brick AC adaptors. One is 13.5V @ 500mA and the other is 12V @ 1000mA. Which one should I use?
if you have a DMM, just measure 13.5V adaptors output to be sure it is max 13.5V.
A car battery can be 13.5V when full, 12V is nominal voltage of car battery, so at 12V supply it will not be fully charged.
My CTEK manual says 14.4V (normal), 14.7V (winter) and 15.8V (reconditioning).
