Once enough people report a thread or post, it automatically gets taken down.
Your thread probably got reported because it was controversial politically.

Before your thread got taken down, people made it clear that the thread would probably be taken down, and the reason why, so I don't understand why you're so confused now.
Your thread being taken down is one of the least surprising things I have ever seen on BLF.
Indeed, it can be brought back if it was an automated take down.
