A present for christmas? You won´t get a flashlight before christmas.
Anyway, look for a Sipik SK68. It´s cheap, very bright, zoomable and takes normal AA batteries or Lithium cells.
~5 USD.
If you order from DX it will be more like a eater present 
Tracked shipping from china takes about 2weeks minimum, dx orders take about one month to me…some longer.
If you need it on Christmas you have to buy one locally, check amazon some sell the 5$ Chinese flashlights for around 15$ with national shipping…

Most of the lights use rechargeable lithium batteries, so you need to gift these with a charger also….

This is the same as the Sipik SK68 on Amazon for $4.40 shipped. Very good reviews. I personally don’t like the ugly beams on zommies but everyone should have at least one, will go from flood to pencil(throwing) beam by sliding the head.

For this price you will have random low quality flashlight with dangerous battery/charger.
For flood you need a small flashlight with small reflector but if you need a larger flashlight you will need multiple LED and its not cheap.
How about a powerful keychain light ? The Trustfire mini 01 is great and come with a battery.
maybe an ultrafire c8, the beam sims to be wide and clean ?
what do you think about it, ? it seam to be apreciate around here ( i buy one after reading the review here )

You said you had a Jacob A60, that is to the far extreme a thrower. A C8 is kind of a thrower also but the beam is much wider, not a pencil beam like the A60. The C8 is a nice all around light but it’s not considered a flooder. If you want a C8, get the Convoy C8 from fastteck, make sure you get the 2800ma driver and choose the led tint you prefer, cool, neutral, or warm. It’s a little over $15 but not much.

None of the Jacob A60’s have an XM-L, they have an XP-E. I personally hate the A60, Get the C8 I linked above, much better light.

The convoy C8 is a very good light and you can try different tint (la teinte du faisceau lumineux) but its not completely flood, more like a good combination of flood/throw.
For more flood you need something smaller like convoy S2 or something bigger with multiple LED, like the skyray .
