Haven't bought one of those batteries in years or I'd go home and tear it open to see if it's true.
It's fake. There's loads of videos around on the net which are similarly themed.
"Heavy Duty" is battery maker code for zinc carbon cells. i.e., junk cells. Which will need insulating before use in metal bodied lights. Avoid!
The better 6V lantern batteries have four F size alkaline cells. These are actually worth harvesting.
But cost significantly more. As in: up to 20x more.
Knew it was too good to be true~
just ripped open a rayovac "super heavy duty" and found 4 uninsulated Fs
Wonder why some people can see it and some people get my corporate filter?
are these Alkaline, or NiMH?
Sounds like they are neither, but definitely not NiMh
like don said, most are 'heavy duty' so neither
Absolute B.S. funny but B.S
I get my AA cells at the Dollar Tree. $1 for 4 Sunbeam alkalines. Nice cells for the price.
Fake i have seen other vids like this lol.......and who needs nimh rechargeables i have tons......that i dont use at all. I converted my stock to lsd's now.

I buy from MCM all the time.
Wow, F alkaline mah ratings can be really high for the cell size . . could make for a long running 3 D cell mag light if the capacity is all of that.
Thanks for that link Larry......not a bad price at all.
