What is the Cheapest 2x26650 flashlight with any legit xhp LED?
I sold my convoy L6 a while back but still have some 26650 batteries. I saw these cheap ones .. but surely these can't be legit xhp LEDs??
Convoy L6 with XHP70 is US$50.01 on Banggood. Just got one Silver this afternoon. I think this is one of the most cost-effective and efficient flashlights using two 26650 cells.
I enjoy having large Convoy flashlights. I have added mini-extension tubes to enhance their appearance. Can buy these mini-tubes from “Convoy flashlight Store” on Ali Express. Then I put one 26650 and one 26800 into each of them.
Convoy L6 with GT-FC40 (right) costs a little bit more, about US$53. And the L7, with SBT90.2 (middle) costs about US$82.
Just look at the photo of the LED, an original Cree LED doesn’t look that bad.
I wouldn’t dare to buy something like this, not even for modding. The LED is not connected to the heatinking structure - it can’t, because of the zoom funktion, which looks bad on multi-emitter lights anyway.
For me, there is a rule - any light that has those 4 LEDs for charging status is rubbish and not worth my money or time.
26650 lights are kinda rare these days, 2x26650 even more - a lot of manufacturers are shifting towards 21700 instead of 18650/26650.
Maybe try to get a used one?
I do have some maglite 2D hosts, and heatsinks. maybe i could just buy xhp70 LED and direct drive it? been meaning to mod a flashlight for ever, but never got around to it.
Any good xhp70 (or any other LED suggestion) sources?
