Chinese New Year, 2017

A reminder for the old hands and a heads up for all the noobs. The Chinese New Year is Jan 28 in 2017. The dates for the Official Celebration — 7 Days, are January 27– February 2, 2017

For the noobs… most everything in China stops for a week or even longer in some cases. The seller websites work but that is about all. So plan your purchases ahead, if you can.

Yep, already waiting for the next fasttech site-wide sale, so I can stock up on a gaggle more LEDs other DIY stuff.

Thanks for reminding (forgetful) me about that. Yes, noobs, the sellers make amends or apologies or whatever for the holiday inconvenience by having lots of sales. Order, wait, wait a little more, receive sale priced goods a little later. Good deal.

We usually have 14 days off. (However, the train travel could take 3 days for 2 trips, and it’s very very hard to buy a ticket.)
