Clip for Thrunite ti3?

I’d like to add a clip to my ti3 so I can mount it on my hat brim, does anyone know where I can find that clip? I found a few places online that sell clips that might work, but the clips themselves seem to cost almost as much as the flashlight. Maybe there’s something that’s compatible that is affordable?

Seems these clips should be super cheap. Can get a new light WITH a clip for just a couple bucks! Not a thrunite, but still . . .

No, mine didn’t come with a clip.

I am surprised if you purchased it new that it did not include the clip. If so, I am pretty certain Thrunite will send you a new clip, possibly even a new light with a clip.

I really liked the Ti3 on my hat during my JMT trip a couple years ago. The only issue I had was that the clip popped off about a week in, and I had to hold it in my mouth at times. It’s so small and light that was not a huge deal, but its worth noting.

I just checked a Ti3 box — it is exactly the same color as the black foam. The clip was pressed flat in a corner - hard to see.

If you can’t find yours and Thrunite doesn’t toss one your way, let me know. In the meantime, I’ll see if I can figure out a way to protect it in shipping that doesn’t add up to ordering a whole new one.

Yah, no doubt I didn’t see it in there and I’m afraid I also tossed the box in on of my cleaning purges! I wrote to Thrunite, and they said they don’t sell the clip separately, but I’m hopeful that they may find a way to get me one somehow. I’ll post back with what they say!

Not really, the part that clips to the body is wider than the smooth part of the Ti-3 body. I just tried it. You could probably make it work, but it sounds like a no go for cost also. Tried my Sofirn C01 clip also, and it is too wide as well. None of my other AAA lights have a clip except my Manker E02, with is definitely too wide, and too big in diameter.

Just a word of warning: the clip does not hold the light very tightly, and a sharp impact can yank it off. Should you manage to get one, clip it to the top of your hat’s brim rather than the bottom.
