Looks like triple emitters. Anyone know what emitter is in these? Wondering if 219’s can be reflowed on to the existing mcpcb’s.
not for me, i am looking for an AA powered replacement light and i won’t even consider these for my collection.
Im figuring they are nichia gs5mm leds. no mpcbs.
Anyone know if the hosts are worth modding? I kind of like the look, nice and simple.
Triple Nichia 119 (the cheapie ones from FT) would be interesting.
Edit: 119 emitters will solder onto 5mm LED hole pads. heatsinking may be an issue, but it would light up…
