Tempting!!! Even if with substandard quality!

I don’t know why I can’t get the link to work.

In the meantime, here you go: http://lightake.com/detail.do/sku.UltraFire_Cree_XM_L_T6_5_Mode_1800_Lumens_LED_Flashlight_Torch(1_18650)\_\_Coffee-58880

Interesting colour, but I gave up coffee some time ago. Seriously though, it’s very “earthy”

I swear, whether it’s to bold something or place a link, the code on this board doesn’t work more than half the time.

How did you do that?

Just the really simple way. Cut and paste the link as text using “Simple Post Editor” mode.

Like this…

980L

I used the “insert link” feature and the link is copied right. I have had this problem before. Have no idea what you are doing different, unless it’s a Mac vs PC thing. I’m a Mac man.

Here is the link just pasted plain and simple…

Now here is the link when I go to use the “insert link” feature…

980L Clone

Any idea why this is happening anybody? Admin?

Got it! I have to use the Advanced Post Editor as a Mac user.

Better quality black clone

That is indeed very strange. But at least you’ve got it all figured out now

It’s actually nothing to do with Mac per se, but because those prior links you had used parentheses which is not valid characterse in URL’s (and thus the forum sw interpreted the string of characters as something else). Proper browsers replace them with the proper replacement codes when copy/pasting from their URL bar, but where you were using didn’t, so it could be because of Safari or whatever you’re using. To make matters worse, the parens in your original link wasn’t even real parens but some weird encoding of them that the lighttake web server/page uses.

As an example (same link, parens in one):

You can hit “quote” on this comment to look at the difference.

I was having trouble posting links earlier too. I also use Safari on a MacBook Air. It’s been a little flaky since the latest system update.

I guess you’d call this one metallic brown: http://dx.com/p/prairiefire-t6-d7-t6-cree-800lm-5-mode-white-light-flashlight-w-strap-golden-1-x-18650-151832
