I sold my TiCu D3AA w RGB button, because I did not like that it turns off when the main LEDs turn on.
I like the low brightness Amber button on the aluminum D3AA I kept.
However, when the D3AA w Amber button has the main LEDs on, the Amber switches to High Brightness at 10 lumens from the main LEDs… this is imo, too soon…
I would rather the Amber stayed on Low until the main LEDs get to 100 Lumens…
When the main LEDs are Off I do like how dim the Amber button is on Low. I set the front Aux to Red Low
For me, the TS10 has a nicer form factor and I carry it more often. Most of my uses are very brief.
When I use a light for longer periods, I prefer the cleaner signal from the D3AA, it has a much lower Flicker Index, because it uses NoPWM.
Sounds great! The front-facing RGB aux as well as the RGB button on the D3AA (at least on low) are much brighter than on other lights, such as the D4K. Personally, I prefer the low aux brightness of the D4K, so it is good to have yet another option with the black button…
Sure. I did not know about this until I found out when turning on the 3ch D4K with RGB button
