So I did end up building an L2M Mini. I didn’t think it would be that cool but now I carry it around everywhere. I originally used the Solarforce XM-L 2.7v - 9v drop in. Which works great, lots of light from the 16340 or the 18350 which I prefer because of the larger storage capacity. (Using an Xtar 3.7v 18350 850mAh). But then decided the XM-L wouldn’t work well with regular CR123’s so bought the Solarforce XP-G .8v - 4.2v drop in. But I am so spoiled by the lux from the XM-L that although the XP-G has a nice hot spot it just seems a disappointment compared to the XM-L. But since the L2M’s are so cheap at $10.99 it was just an easy decision to build a mini. Now I’m considering building a second one even though I have no need for a second one. Flashaholicism strikes again.
