Confirmation on the Olight O'Pen's anodizing

I am considering getting an Olight O'Pen but have heard a rumor that only the black version is HAIII and the other colors are just Type2. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Olight's site really doesn't say much about the anodizing and what little I can find suggest that they are all HAIII but I've heard here that only the black is.

If it is only the black model than I will order that one. If they are ALL HAIII then I will wait and get a brown one.

TIA for the responses. :)

I really hope they are all HAIII. Kreisler do you have orange too?

Johnny, in the manual from the Olight site it says only the black is HAIII.

HA (type III) is typically only produced in a couple of colors: black, dark green, and natural.

The denser pore structure doesn't generally lend itself well to absorption of the brighter colors.

Well spotted Chloe. Glad I ordered a black one. Can’t be doing with a battered pen(light) in my pocket.

I guess my blue one will just have to live a very sheltered existence in my shirt pocket.

Chloe, thanks for the info! That explains why they never mention anodizing type on their product page. Looks like I don't wait for Brown but head for the black instead.

ChiX, that's what I thought but with some claiming haIII for just about everything I needed to be sure. Glad I waited to hear from you guys. ;)
