Considering a deree light x searcher, any other to consider? sub $225

I am looking into a fierce thrower for nightlife Identification purposes. I would like to easily be able to tell a medium brown dog from a light brown dog to 400 meters. Weight is not a terrible issue as long as it stays less than 4-5lbs. I do enjoy modding lights but have no real experience and not enough research ability to figure it all out. Ive seen some beamshots of a light called the btu supershocker that look nice any ways please share your knowledge and help me save some coin, or at least spend it wisely thanks Shawn

I think olight m2x-ut should do the job. If not, then the m3xs will.

I would go with the M3XS-UT Javelot.

I do own the Xsearcher, but frankly, I’ve found the quality of the Dereelight a little wanting.

TN-31 and just add resistor mod or bypass resistors with a wire “$79.99 shipped

Yep, there’s a group buy going on right now for the M3XS too.

I just watched a video review of the Deree Light Xsearcher and that beam looks awful. I would definitely stay away from it. There’s plenty of places to get better quality lights that throw from 800 to 1000 meters for less than $80.

Get. The. M3XS-UT. You won’t be disappointed!!

nice to know that the deree isnt up to the cost thanks much guys ill research that tn 31 never heard of it.

It’s a Thrunite… but if you’ll like a cheaper inspired tn31 you can go for the Ace beam K40M series. I have the K40M and it’s awesome!

Thrunite’s quality is excellent. I just sold a Thrunite TN35vn. It was the first and only Thrunite I owned.

i did an amazon search and the tn31 is $120 cheaper than the acebeam k40m?(80vs200) am i looking at the right light?

Yup! But not 200 usd. It’s about 120usd with code blf on banggood.com . You could ask M4DM4X for a code… it’ll be less than a 120usd. 3000lumens is almost thrice what you get for the tn31. But if you aren’t looking for a light that floods as much as it throws the tn31 is better. Unless you want 5000 lumens you could go for the acebeam K60

I’m sorry I like really bright lights.
Another option would be getting a moded light from one of the members here. Maybe a zoomie. I mean the UF-1504 is an awesome thrower

After buying my first “professional” led light from Amazon. I found that it’s better decide on the light that you want then scour the forums for discount codes. There’s several businesses that offer discounts to members of this forum and there are group buys as well. I’m sure many members here will be more than happy to point you in the right direction after you decide on a light you want to buy, including myself. I just wish I would have known about this forum before I made that first Amazon purchase, lol.

Right on! Better for you to look at reviews and beam shots first! Then decide !
