Bit of an odd question as thinking of using some convoy lights in my headlights for high beam.
They will be to supplement my biled projectors, I have previously had Morimoto HB high beam projectors that were junk and currently have Bevinsee V45 led bulbs in the high beam reflectors, which light up closer distances great, but dont have the longer distance throw that I am after, which is why I am after something that has a widespread of close by light but will also light up well 200m down the road.
If the batteries are removed and then refitted does the mode memory work? Does the switch need to be pressed to power up the light? Is mode memory just on high or also turbo as seen conflicting comments.
Also when batteries are reinserted does the light do any blinks etc first?
Just trying to work out if factory driver could be used (to keep the temperature control) with a dc-dc convertor to bring voltage down from the cars 12v or best just to use an Aliexpress buck module?
