Got a Convoy C8 which is a great light, but the driver is a bit simplistic - been spending too long on this forum - would like a moon mode, for e.g.
Is changing the driver easy? which one is recommended? where from (given I’m in the UK?)

Since you are in the UK take a loot at www.3tronics.co.uk. Its from a member here, you’ve probably heard of him.
And yes changing a driver is pretty easy, make sure you have the right size (17mm iirc) and then its just un- and re-soldering 2 wires that er going to the LED.
you could check out the qlite driver….it will fit and you can change the modes groups with a pencil
