I ordered a convoy c8+ kw cslnm1.tg from the slow boat in China and I have been reading different reviews. I was wondering how this light is holding up since its release. Most reviews were positive overall and I can’t wait to get it in my hands. Anyone got anything new to say about this light?
I have had one for a few years now and it’s still my go to for longer distances.
That’s what I was hoping to hear. I got what I thought was a really good deal at $27 w/battery. I may or may not use the battery that comes with it but after checking the battery I will know more. I don’t know what brand the battery is but I have plenty of good 18650 batteries. I ended up getting the tan (looks like copper brown to me) since I had a black C8+.
I really like the C8+ with an 18350 tube (you need the one made just for it since the threads on the S2+ tubes don’t match). It makes it a bit more pocket-able in say a jacket. You lose some output and runtime, but the fun factor is still all there.
I find if any light is cumbersome to carry then I won’t give it much use. Short tubes have compromises but without them I may just leave the light at home.
I had the same though. I ordered two 18350 tubes, just waiting for them to arrive.
