Anyone know if the L2-style XP centering ring will work with C8 SMO reflector?

This works well for xml to xpg if you have the stock ring

So, you have a XPG/XPG2 you want to use in a XML/XML2 reflector, but the locating/centering ring on the insulators are different sizes, and it's a pain to keep all the parts aligned while screwing it together. I wish somebody made these for sale, but they don't, so we have to make them ourselves. It's easy.
