I saw l21a on xhp35hi already available ! This is running on single 18650/26650 cell, how about luminosity and distance of the flashlight ? I’m right now ordering it

I thought the L21A runs on 2x21700, while the L2 runs on 26650, or 18650. The M21A runs on 1x21700, and is the 21700 version of the C8+.

Is there a new L21A running 26650?

The L21a runs on 1 single 21700 (i bought one recently)
It does NOT come with an extension tube. (It doesn’t come with any accessories actually, not even a lanyard…)

L21A runs only 1*21700 or 1*18650 w/adapter.

You’re right. I just read the group-buy description again. I don’t understand why, because the SST40 can take 2x26650, which is higher in voltage than 1x21700.

The sst40 is a 3V LED, also the driver is only suited for 4,2V

Sky Lumen has a modded version of the L2 with SST-40 on 2x26650 for 280kcd. If I understand this correctly, it’s a buck driver (DriverVN4), based on the spec of the SST-40 you provided?

I’m not familiar with Vinh his drivers, Simon (Convoys owner) does not support 2x 26650 for the SST40 (at least not the L21a)

Two of my lights (L2 and S11) have XHP35 HI and are using the H2-C 22mm 1.5A from KD, so your driver is very interesting.

Yes, that should work, the driver is just released, single cell driver for XHP35.
It should fit, since the L21a (21700 version of the L2) is the first to be introduced with this driver.

For 21700 , there is the L21A version with XHP35
I don’t know if it has temperature stepdown, otherwise removing the NTC on the driver will disable it.

Removing temperature stepdown wont solve the problem, cos then you cant hold it in your hand

So tldr:
2x21700 big flashlight with good cooling and over 2000lumens

Size and weight isnt problem
