FYI: At least you guys got Convoy L6. The one ordered for my friend since 1-12-2019 has not arrived or will never arrive. Mind you purchased WAY BEFORE CNY.

Also, I will wait until end of week. Then paypal/credit card claim coming.

u can also go to www.packageradar.com and type in the tracking info and see what it says?

mortuus, the problem is NO tracking number (ordered on 1-12-2019) or updated information AT ALL. BG would have least sent some updated information to my e mail already. I still have the paypal transaction confirmation e mail and in my paypal purchase history records. As mentioned before I had problems with BG before. I only ordered this light for a good friend of mine. If this order has problems I will never order for anyone else from now on.

BTW, I have not ordered ever since my own orders was screwed up by BG.

ok if u chose the normal free shipping then there is no tracking number. u just have to wait and see until it arrives.

That sounds like really shady practices by that Buffalo company Zulumoose. Good for them that you refused to pay, even if what they charge would be correct, the way they communicate with the customer is reason enough to get them out of business if you can influence that.
I hope you get your money back from Banggood!

Yeah, I will wait another week before filing claim. Which will make it over 30 days since order date 1-12-2019.

Light arrived today. Didn’t turn on, found out the ring near the tailcap was loose and causing the problem. Light works perfect after tightening up the ring.

Still no feedback from Buffalo on either my email or phone call from last week.
Another call to them today had the same result, they are sticking to the line that I must just pay them, pointing to their own online Buffalo invoice as “evidence”, they won’t even acknowledge verbally whether they can produce any customs evidence.
Banggood responded via email in typical fashion, again showing no understanding of the problem at all.
I guess I am going to have to lodge a Paypal claim.

I was affraid that customs also would charged me, but the reason why I order frequently from Asia is that I never have to pay any extra tax…

good to hear, i always buy with priority direct mail from there, it shipa via postnl so never customs for me so far 10+ orders.

I never ship with PostNL because every time I do, I need to pay for storage costs (15€) (orders under 22€ are free from customs in the Netherlands)). But because they investigate the order I need to pay for storage cost. Maybe I was just unlucky with all my orders shipped by PostNL.

I know, almost every CN seller does that. But customs still investigates the packages.
When they do the receiver needs to upload the receipt… (under 22€ is tax free, but I still have to pay for the “storage cost” to PostNL (€13)). Shipping it as a gift/low amount doesn’t change anything.

edit: sent photo above with message via bg site. email reply requested photos of shipping labels and video. i don’t understand why a video is necessary since it doesn’t provide any info not shown in the photo but sent it anyway.

I reported the problem and the reply from banggood requested photos of shipping label and video. I sent them. Their next reply said video was too dark to see the problem and asking me to send another video. The camera was adjusted to allow the problem to be seen. With auto exposure settings the light produced by the L6 even on low prevents the problem from being photographed.

I sent the info to the banggood rep here via pm and hope for resolution.

My Convoy L6 order from banggood in january got cancelled today, seems like they don’t want to sell you a L6 for such a low price. I have answered the Out-of-Stock-Email I got by choosing to wait another few weeks but they did cancel the order anyway and without notifying me by email. I will never order from Banggood again.

Mine arrived yesterday, finally, after a long fight with Banggood and their local shipping partner Buffalo. Took forever to get them to send customs evidence and agree on final charges and delivery address, which they told me they had changed as per my instructions but didn’t.

The L6 is perfect, the usual Convoy high quality, performs flawlessly, only surprise is it didn’t come with spare O-rings or a lanyard, I don’t mind no lanyard but I don’t think I have ever received a quality light before without spare O-rings. Only accessory was the “tactical ring”.

As for Banggood and Buffalo, the misunderstandings, empty threats, outright lies, and bad service have left me very disappointed. I lodged a Paypal claim which I must now cancel as I received the goods, but I cannot seem to cancel it. I view the claim in the resolution centre, scroll through all updates, and only have the option to change the case type, not cancel or close.
What do I do now?

no i dont think u are supposed to get lanyard, cant remember if i got with mine, i bought it so long ago , but BG says;

so guess not
