convoy s2 problem

I just received a convoy s2 from simon. When I took it out of the package I unscrewed the light to take out the safety paper for the installed batteries. It worked great. Then I unscrewed the flashlight again to look at the insides and get familiar with it. Now it will not turn on unless I unscrew the top half. And even then it will intermittently work. What happened ? I didn’t unscrew the led part only the battery part?..( UPDATE) I have fixed this problem. I was playing with the memory modes and now it only turns on at 20% and off. it does not change to any other settings … I tried the 10 plus half clicks till the light stays off and nothing . Is there a way to factory reset … I am super new to programming flashlights.

Are you sure you didn't invert the tube ?

If you unscrew the head and the tail from the middle (tube) part you should see that one side has bare threads while the other side has anodized threads.

The anodized should be the tail and the bare aluminum should be head side.

Inverting the tube on one of my S2+ does exactly what you describe

yes thats what I did… I was playing with settings . I am now stuck at 20% and will not switch. Can I reset the light to factory settings?

Does it have biscotti?

Some biscotti drivers have a known issue

yes through more research I am finding this out… What does simon normally do in this situation? I really would hate to wait another 3 weeks for a flashlight

Send u a new driver i guess

Youll need to remove the pill and do some soldering

This is one of the reasons i went with non biscotti convoys or BLF A6
